The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for the House Professor-Dean and the Assistant Dean of the House. She manages the administrative and logistical aspects of a wide variety of House events and programs, serves as the House Office manager and oversees the work of student service desk assistants. The Administrative Assistant also coordinates communications with 30 House Fellows (senior faculty and university administrators), alumni, and guest dignitaries with facilities and dining staff in regard to program support.
Constance holds a B.S. in Business Management and a M.B.A in Business Administration. She is also a licensed Real Estate Agent. She has various certifications around coaching and has done a lot of community service work with elementary through college- age students. Constance has a passion for working with young people and although she has spent many of her working years working for a major corporation in Business Development/Marketing/Strategy. She welcomes the opportunity of working in academia and with college students who are now getting prepared for the workforce.
Constance is new to the Ithaca area. She was born in Georgia, parents moved to Brooklyn when she was 3 years old. She grew and lived all of her years in the City until recently moving to Ithaca. I guess you can say the city girl has moved back to the country! Constance enjoys the arts (theater, dance, museums, and galleries to highlight a few). She is an illustrative artist, who has begun dabbling a lot with paint mediums. She loves tennis, says her passion for the sport out ways her ability. Also has a love of Latin dance and any chance she gets, she is out there on the dance floor. Has an amazing son who is pursuing his own craft in the arts.She is looking forward to working in Carl Becker House and meeting all of you.
