Farah is a junior majoring in Biology & Society in the College of Arts and Science and lives on the first floor.  She was born in Karachi, Pakistan but moved to Denver, Colorado when she was 2 and has lived there ever since.

Her favorite music is hip hop and bhangra.  She loves to go on runs, hike, watch NBA Basketball, and snowboard when she gets the chance!  She is a huge Khalid Hosseini fan, and her favorite book is A Thousand Splendid Suns.

Her activities on campus include being a member of the Islamic Alliance for Justice, the Pakistani Students' Association, and the Running Club.

She is a huge advocate for conservation and would love to go into the field of environmental law and hopefully narrow her focus to areas where environmental injustice is prevalent.

A fun fact about Farah is that she is a proud solver of the Rubik's cube!  She is extremely happy to be a part of the Becker community, as a second year resident, and would like to know everyone here so please talk to her anytime she is around!

Jon Luke Dueltgen is majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations with a minor in Law and Society.  He is broadly interested in researching and bringing together cross-disciplinary issues, such as how network tools may be used to understand collective bargaining.

Jon is the first graduate from the United Nations International School in New York City to attend the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.  His parents and grandfather have continuously served the United Nations since March 1946, so he values cross-cultural perspectives and understanding.  In this spirit, he hopes to foster individual development through a sense of community belonging and support.  With this in mind, Jon always looks forward to meeting the exciting residents of Carl L. Becker House.

In his free time, he enjoys discovering the wealth of hidden treasures on campus—borrowing classic movies from Olin Library, viewing Lake Cayuga’s majesty from the Johnson Museum’s balcony and rumoring that Jimmy Hoffa was buried alive under Ives Hall.  He is also an unrepentant Bruce Springsteen fan.
