House Administrative Coordinator

The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support for the House Professor-Dean and the Assistant Dean of the House. She manages the administrative and logistical aspects of a wide variety of House events and programs, serves as the House Office manager and oversees the work of student service desk assistants. The Administrative Coordinator also coordinates communications with 30 House Fellows (senior faculty and university administrators), alumni, and guest dignitaries with facilities and dining staff in regard to program support.

Meredith’s career path has traversed the worlds of fine chocolate, coffee, teaching, information technology, the Cornell University Library and most recently office and event support for the Lab of Atomic and Solid State Physics. She earned a PhD in Victorian literature along the way which has led to an ongoing passion for writing.  In her time outside of work, she writes the blog Along Came A Cider, gardens, runs lots of tabletop roleplaying games, and reads stacks of novels. She is a devoted believer in learning where you live.
