Nialah is a third year PhD student in Aerospace Engineering, focusing on robotics. Specifically, she works on developing control algorithms for motion and coordination amongst teams of large collectives of robots. Nialah grew up in southwest Virginia before attending Howard University for her undergraduate where she studied Mechanical Engineering.
She enjoys engaging in the local Ithaca community and is passionate about K-12 education reform and how information and technology can be used to bridge racial and socio-economic gaps in America. In her spare time, she loves choreographing dance routines and binge watching random TV series. Nialah is very excited to serve Becker this year!
